Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

The Annapurna Sanctuary Trekking is a vast awe-inspiring amphitheater, surrounded by a multitude of snow packed Himalayan peaks. Annapurna Sanctuary trek is wonderful classic hike through the Annapurna Conservation Area, right into the heart of the mountains and your gentle walk start from lowland to the wonderful high mountains with breathtaking view of the Himalayas and the Glaciers. It is one of the most beautiful treks passing through the diverse ethnic group's culture and verity vegetation forest and wildlife. Whilst Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) itself lies at 4,130 m, the hike into the Sanctuary arrives first at the lower 3,720 m Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) giving spectacular views from rice terrain to glacial moraines and outstanding high mountains.

The Annapurna Circuit trail takes you through an ever-changing landscape of rice fields, misty forests and tiny villages. Starting out at Nayapul, we encounter sub-tropical heat, pretty villages, neatly terraced rice fields and colorful Rhododendron forest. The panorama of prominent Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri peaks from the vantage Poon Hill view point [3190m] above Ghorepani are the most spectacular mountain escapes on Earth. The Ghorepani Hill point mesmerizes with heavenly view of sunrise and golden color views of Annapurna ranges. We retrace back to Ghorepani and follow route Tadapani – Chomrong. Above Deorali, the valley widens and becomes less steep and you can see the gates to the sanctuary.

Machhapuchhre Base Camp is the another heavenly trail with stupendous mountain views including Hiuchhuli, Gangapurna and the ever-changing Machhapuchhre, whose sheer triangular face takes on yet another aspect here. The trail finally stumbles across moraines and reaches the world of ice and snow Annapurna Sanctuary from where you will see incredible 360 degree views of the Annapurna ranges and above the massive Annapurna glacier, some distances of the Annapurna Base Camp (4130m). Collecting lifetime experience, we retrace from Annapurna Base camp to Chomrong then trek to the Jhinu where is the natural hot spring and catches easy walking to Phedi.
