Kali Gandaki originates from Tibet and is named after the mythological goddess Kali. It runs through the deepest river gorge of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. Thick vegetation, wildlife, serene villages, spectacular mountain views and 3 to 4+ turbulent rapids are few of its distinguished features. Time and Trasport
The satrting point for rafting on Kali Gandaki river is just 3 hours from Pokhara and is reached by private transport provided . Those departing from Kathmandu leave the morning before the trip, arriving in Pokhara mid afternoon. There is an orientation meeting early the same evening, providing you with an opportunity to ask any further questions you may have, to meet your fellow rafters, your guide and team. Overnight accommodation in Pokhara can be arranged on request. The 55km of Kali Gandaki river action takes 3 days. The return trip from the 'Dam' take out point of Kali Gandaki river trip to Pokhara is about four and half hour drive.

During Rafting

Ittinerary            
Day 1
Early in the morning breakfast at your hotel or restaurent and drive to pokhara.same day drive to beni.along the way of Pokhara’s Phewa Lake and the Annapurna Range 1200 Arrive Beni. Unload. Safety drill-demonstration and disscusiing adjustment of helmets, life jackets, etc.300 Lunch 1330 Raft for 4 hrs - main rapids are ‘Big Brother’, ‘Evil One’ and ‘Wake-Up Call’ - grade IV.  Big bouncy play waves – lots of big fun whitewater. 1730 Set up camp above cliff-faced gorge - more rapids await us first thing tomorrow.camping dinner you also can make Barbeque

Day 2  0700 Wake-up call with tea and coffee0730 Breakfast 0830 Take down camp, set up rafts 0930 Spectacular 80m gorge waterfall,then 2.5 hours of classic roller-coaster play waves, grade III+‘Double Bend.1230Lunch 1330 Raft for 2-3 hours
