Overview

Our 7 Day Bhutan Cultural Tour from Kathmandu offers an unforgettable journey through some of Bhutan's most popular cultural and natural destinations. The journey begins in Kathmandu, Nepal, with a scenic international flight to Paro, Bhutan's main international gateway. Direct air connections between Kathmandu and Paro make Nepal one of the convenient starting points for a Bhutan journey. After arriving in Paro, travel to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Explore important attractions including Buddha Dordenma, the National Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong and traditional Bhutanese cultural sites. The journey then continues across Dochula Pass towards Punakha. Visit the beautiful Punakha Dzong, Chimi Lhakhang and Punakha Suspension Bridge before continuing deeper into Bhutan's countryside. From Punakha, travel to the beautiful Phobjikha Valley, also known as Gangtey Valley. Visit Gangtey Monastery, explore the peaceful valley and learn about the rare black-necked cranes that migrate to this region during winter. Return to Paro for the highlight of the trip — the hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery, Bhutan's most iconic Buddhist landmark. On the final day, fly from Paro back to Kathmandu, completing your 7-day Bhutan journey. This itinerary is ideal for travelers looking for a Bhutan tour package from Nepal that combines culture, nature, Himalayan scenery and Bhutan's most famous landmarks in a comfortable seven-day journey.
