Where a specific retreat has its own cancellation policy, the cancellation policy published for that particular program will take precedence.

4

Postponement & Date Changes

Participants may request to change their program dates subject to availability. Any additional costs arising from changes to accommodation, transportation, instructors, permits, venues, or other suppliers may be charged to the participant.

5

Program Changes

Om Holidays Tour and Trek reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary, accommodation, instructor, venue, schedule, activities, or excursions when necessary because of weather, safety concerns, local conditions, transportation issues, government regulations, instructor availability, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the overall quality and purpose of the program.

6

Yoga, Meditation & Wellness Disclaimer

Yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, Ayurveda, massage, Reiki, singing bowl sessions, and other wellness activities offered through our programs are intended for education, relaxation, personal development, and general wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, or emergency medical care.

Participants should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating if they have a medical condition, injury, pregnancy, or other concern that may affect participation.

7

Teacher Training Certification

Where a program includes a certificate, the certificate will be issued according to the requirements and attendance standards of that particular course. Completion of a course does not automatically represent government licensure or authorization to practice a regulated profession.

Where a program is described as Yoga Alliance-related or certified, the specific certification arrangement and eligibility requirements will be stated in the individual program description.

8

Attendance & Participation

Participants are expected to:

  • Attend scheduled classes and training sessions punctually.

  • Follow reasonable instructions from teachers, guides, and program staff.

  • Respect fellow participants and instructors.

  • Participate according to their own physical and personal limitations.

  • Inform the instructor before participating in any activity if they feel unable to perform it safely.

9

Code of Conduct

Participants must behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, local communities, fellow travelers, and other guests.

Om Holidays Tour and Trek may remove a participant from a program without refund where their behavior creates a serious safety risk, harassment, discrimination, violence, illegal activity, serious disruption, or significant disturbance to others.

10

Alcohol, Drugs & Prohibited Conduct

Illegal drugs and illegal activities are strictly prohibited.

Participants must comply with Nepalese law and the rules of accommodation providers, retreat centers, temples, monasteries, training venues, and other locations visited during the program.

11

Participants are responsible for their passports, money, electronic devices, luggage, valuables, and personal belongings.

Om Holidays Tour and Trek is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property except where liability is imposed by applicable law.

12

Travel Insurance

Participants are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Medical expenses

  • Emergency assistance

  • Trip cancellation or interruption

  • Lost or stolen baggage

  • Emergency evacuation, where relevant

  • Trekking or adventure activities, where applicable

For trekking programs, participants should ensure that their insurance specifically covers the activities and altitude involved.

13

Passport, Visa & Travel Documents

Participants are responsible for obtaining a valid passport, Nepal visa, travel insurance, permits, vaccinations or other documents required for their journey.

Om Holidays Tour and Trek can provide general travel information but is not responsible for visa refusal, immigration decisions, or problems caused by incomplete or invalid travel documents.

14

Health & Safety

Participants must provide accurate information relevant to their ability to participate safely.

For trekking, hiking, high-altitude activities, or other physically demanding programs, participants should follow the instructions of the guide or program leader.

If a participant becomes ill or is unable to continue, Om Holidays Tour and Trek may modify the itinerary or arrange appropriate assistance where reasonably possible. Any additional medical, transportation, accommodation, rescue, or evacuation costs may be payable by the participant or their insurer.

15

Trekking & Permits

Where a retreat includes trekking or hiking, required permits, guides, TIMS cards, conservation-area fees, national park fees, or other government requirements will be arranged according to the applicable program.

Nepal Tourism Board currently lists several major trekking regions—including Everest, Annapurna, Langtang and Manaslu—where licensed guides and TIMS requirements apply.

16

Transportation & Third-Party Services

Flights, hotels, restaurants, vehicles, domestic transportation, trekking lodges, guides, and other services may be provided by independent suppliers.

Om Holidays Tour and Trek will make reasonable efforts to use reliable service providers but cannot control circumstances such as airline delays, cancellations, road closures, strikes, weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional photographs or videos should inform Om Holidays Tour and Trek in advance or at the time of the activity.

19

Respect for Local Culture

Participants are expected to respect Nepalese culture, traditions, religious sites, local communities, environmental guidelines, and dress requirements.

Nepal Tourism Board specifically advises visitors to respect local laws, customs, religion, cultural norms, and values.

20

Environmental Responsibility

Participants are encouraged to minimize waste, avoid single-use plastics where possible, conserve water and energy, respect wildlife, and avoid damaging natural or cultural heritage sites.

21

Complaints & Customer Support

If a participant has a concern during the program, they should inform the Om Holidays Tour and Trek representative as soon as possible so that reasonable steps can be taken to resolve the issue during the program.

Complaints submitted after departure should be made in writing within a reasonable period.

22

By making a booking or participating in an Om Holidays Tour and Trek program, the participant confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

Important Notice: These Terms & Conditions should be read together with the specific inclusions, exclusions, cancellation policy, itinerary, payment terms, and requirements published for each individual program.
